SIS Access to Billing/Receivable Screens
- Before requesting SIS access, make sure you
have a compatible computer and connectivity to
the campus network. You will also need
terminal emulation software to connect to the
IBM mainframe computer. Contact your
department systems support staff, or CCIT
customer accounts for information and help.
- Each person will be issued a unique User ID and
password. You will also be asked to sign a
document that contains a statement on computer
and password usage. Allowing any other person
to use your User ID and password is strictly
prohibited, and users in violation of this
policy will be subjected to disciplinary
action, which could involve revocation of
access and/or personnel action.
- Access to SIS data is centrally managed by the
Registrar's Office. Please read
instructions
on how to obtain/change SIS access and
related information on usage training on the
Registrar's Office Web site. If you are
requesting access to SIS/BR screens, please be
sure to provide a purpose, and have the request
authorized by the director or head of your
department. The Bursar's Office cannot grant
access to these screens without proper
authorization.
- PLEASE NOTE: It is very important that
the Registrar's Office be notified immediately
on any changes in responsibility which may
result in modifications in access rights to
screens, and when an employee leaves the
University or moves to another department.
